Delanie Gibbons is an associate attorney at the firm, concentrating her practice on estate planning. Leveraging her LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law, Delanie specializes in assisting clients develop efficient strategies to achieve their goals while minimizing the impact of gift, estate, and income taxes. Her Why:
Delanie’s grandmother, June, was diagnosed with Early-Onset Dementia at the age of 62. When she was in law school at Stetson University College of Law, Delanie watched her own parents go through the Probate process after her grandmother’s passing. Without an adequate estate plan in existence, they endured months of waiting with all the hurdles in between- not to mention the costly attorney’s fees. It was this experience in her own family that sparked her passion for assisting others in the same position. This personal connection drives her mission to help her clients avoid the probate process and provide a safe space for education and support along the way. Delanie is dedicated to making a positive impact one client at a time, because failing to plan is planning to fail, and in her world, a stitch in time saves nine.
In her spare time, Delanie enjoys fishing, spending time with her family and dogs, and cooking.
